New partners at Attwood Marshall
The two women have joined the organisation’s leadership team.
National law firm Attwood Marshall Lawyers has promoted aged care specialist Debbie Sage to partner.
Ms Sage – an accredited aged care professional who leads the company’s aged care department – was well-deserving of partner status, said Attwood Marshall’s legal practice director Jeff Garrett.
“Her selfless commitment to her work in aged care, coupled with the emotional support she provides to her clients and their families, has resulted in enduring relationships and invaluable referrals for the firm.”
Working in the field of wills and estates, Ms Sage offers advice to clients who live in aged care facilities or who are preparing to transition into aged care.
In response to the promotion, Ms Sage – who has been with Attwood Marshall for the past 18 years – said: “I am genuinely excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for us in the coming year.”
Colleague Lucy McPherson has also been appointed a partner. Ms McPherson was equally deserving of her promotion, said Mr Garrett.
“Lucy has demonstrated exceptional expertise in estate litigation and a very clear commitment to fulfilling our intent, which is to help people and change their lives for the better. I extend my sincere congratulations to Lucy on this well-deserved appointment.”
A part of the Attwood Marshall team since 2014, Ms McPherson’s caseload includes family provision claims, contested probate applications, will construction and rectification, statutory wills, superannuation death benefit claims, and powers of attorney disputes.
Remarking on her partner status, Ms McPherson said: “I am deeply honoured to assume a leadership role within Attwood Marshall Lawyers.”
