Peninsula Villages resident surprises wife for her birthday

Peninsula Villages resident Bill Bartlett surprised his wife Betty for her 94th birthday with a special birthday delivery.

Bill and Betty, who lives in the family home, have not seen each other for over three months due to COVID-19 visitor restrictions.

Peninsula Village staff put together a plan to take Bill to visit Betty on her birthday.

The pair, who have been married for 73 years, rejoiced in spending time together once more.

Bill was able to lounge in his favourite chair and proudly showed off his model boat collection with care staff.
