Home Care Today, a CDC support project, is hosting a series of free webinars to update Vocational Education and Training (VET) educators about consumer directed care and its inclusion in the new aged care qualifications and competencies.

Home Care Today, a CDC support project, is hosting a series of free webinars to update Vocational Education and Training (VET) educators about consumer directed care and its inclusion in the new aged care qualifications and competencies.
The 90 minute webinar will discuss how to apply the principles of CDC to designing core and elective units to meet the requirements of the new generalist qualification, Certificate III in Individual Support.
The webinars taking place in May and June will:
- discuss the changes in Home Care Packages with the introduction of CDC
- explore the changing work roles in the industry
- clarify the impact on industry training
- identify some strategies for designing courses to meet the new requirements
- identify how to access relevant resources for teaching.
