Support for providers to develop their marketing skills

Home Care Today, a CDC support project, is hosting a free webinar for home care package providers on niche marketing in a competitive environment.

The webinar will cover key concepts of how to market home care services and is targeted at small providers at the beginning of their marketing strategy development.

The session is designed to give providers some of the tools and frameworks needed for a robust, competitive market strategy. Participants will be able to ask questions at the end of the session.

The free webinar will be held on 4 April 2pm-3.30pm EST.

Spotlight on use of assistive technology to increase mobility

Community care service providers are invited to participate in a new webinar focusing on the role smart assistive technologies can play in the area of mobility.

The webinar ‘Driving mobility & independence through the use of smart assistive technology’ will be hosted by the Community Care Smart Assistive Technology Collaborative on 21 April 11am-12pm AEST.

The webinar will highlight the use of exoskeleton technology, demonstrate the application of smart assistive technologies and explore the economic impact of their use in the mobility field.

The Community Care Smart Assistive Technology was set up to provide a space for community care providers to collaborate, access resources and engage with local and international experts around the application  and mainstreaming of smart assistive technology.

Update on ACAT transition to My Aged Care

The Department of Health is hosting the last webinar in its series on the transition of Aged Care Assessment Teams to My Aged Care.

The webinar will demonstrate the recent enhancements the department has made to the My Aged Care system and provide an update on the transition of ACATs to using the full functionality of the system.

The webinar, to be held on 13 April, is the last in the department’s current series of briefings on the transition for service providers and assessors.
