Rosden nurses’ super under threat

The Australian Nursing Federation (ANF) has announced that nurses employed at the Rosden Private Nursing Home may lose their superannuation entitlements.

Nurses at the Rosden Private Nursing Home may lose their superannuation entitlements, according to the Australian Nursing Federation (ANF).

ANF Victorian branch assistant state secretary Yvonne Chaperon says the home’s nurses need certainty about whether they still have jobs and whether they will be paid their superannuation, long service leave and annual leave.

“These dedicated nurses and personal care workers have put the residents first at all times during this incredibly traumatic week,” Ms Chaperon said.

“The proprietor must clarify the future of the facility’s staff and their entitlements because these nurses and carers have families to feed and bills to pay.”
