RV manager continues growth push

A large retirement village manager has re-stated its intention to increase market share among independent owners looking to outsource day-to-day operations.

A South Australia-based, national retirement village manager is pushing ahead with its expansion plans, after being awarded management contracts for two new villages.

With the addition of the villages in Murray Bridge (SA) and Dural (NSW), Village Care now manages 20 retirement communities around Australia.

The group launched a national expansion campaign in August, following a merger with accommodation asset manager, SCV Group, earlier in the year.

CEO Loretta Byers said the organisation has seen anecdotal evidence that increasing numbers of independent owners are looking to outsource the management of their villages.

“We are currently taking a large number of enquiries from potential clients and negotiating numerous management contracts with operators around Australia,” Mrs Byers said.

Delivering a strong message to the market, Mrs Byers added that her organisation is seeking further growth opportunities.
