Tasmanian home forced to close
A small, stand-alone low care facility is due to close because it is no longer viable.
Tasmanian provider OneCare has confirmed that it will close its Bellview Manor aged care facility in Rosny Park within the next few months, according to the ABC.
The group says the 30-bed stand-alone, low care home is no longer financially viable.
OneCare CEO told the ABC that the organisation will help residents and staff find alternative accommodation and employment.
“I’ve already had commitments from the industry both for the residents and the staff that they will give them priority of access in terms of placements,” he said.
