TriCare starts construction in Victoria

Aged care provider TriCare has commenced building its first residential aged care facility in Victoria.

Aged care provider TriCare has started building its first residential aged care facility in Victoria in Williams Landing in south-west Melbourne.

The 126-bed four-storey development has city and park views, communal and private dining and lounge areas, a wine bar, café and in-house cinema and salon.

TriCare Williams Landing will also include a glass conservatory, landscaped gardens and a greenhouse.

The new home will bring TriCare’s portfolio to 25 residential aged care and retirement living facilities in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

TriCare is excited to expand its services to Victoria, said the provider’s property and planning manager Simon Dwyer.

“We are confident the growing number of ageing residents in the broader community will benefit from this significant development for years to come,” Mr Dwyer said.

Total Construction is building the first stage of the project.

It is expected to open by late 2022 and create 140 jobs when fully operational.
