Cloud-based resident dietary and menu management
Aged care hospitality specialists OSCAR is offering a one-month free trial of its latest cloud-based software designed to support providers to deliver the right meal to every resident in a facility simultaneously.
OSCAR Hospitality’s cloud software program aims to support facilities to deliver clinically appropriate, nutritious, safe, cost-effective, resident-focused restaurant-quality food to every resident in an aged care facility simultaneously.
The Complete Catering Care Program (3CP) offers secure multiple device access from anywhere at any time with an internet connection and is suitable for single and multi-site operations.
3CP can be customised to reflect the resident, facility, workflow and operational processes and aims to mitigate risk while meeting legislative and regulatory compliance, according to OSCAR Hospitality.
The aged care sector currently prepares 1.25 million meals for 208,000 residents who have six meals per day, according to OSCAR Hospitality. There are 32,000 potential combinations made up of eight food textures, four fluid textures, 100 allergies/intolerances and 10 different cultures.
The PC/tablet/phone ready cloud modules include:
- Catering Care Program – for resident dietary and menu/recipe management incorporating supplier ordering and food medication interaction
- Food Safety Program – to identify and manage food safety hazards and documentation with in-built email alerts and automated government updates
- Expenditure Analysis – to track live per resident per day spend
- Catering Survey – to survey residents and family members electronically providing immediate collation and reporting
- Food For Thought Catering Activities Calendar – to record history, recipes and activities for annual theme days and events
- Training Videos – industry specific training videos and fact sheets linked to individual staff training matrix
