Majd Alwan, executive director of the US LeadingAge Centre for Ageing Services Technology (CAST) is calling on the Australian sector to collaborate locally and internationally to join in its aim of speeding up the development, evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to improve the ageing experience.

CAST, which is an international coalition of more than 400 technology companies, aged service organisations, research institutions and government representatives, has developed a range of freely available tools to assist aged care providers in their technology journey.

Mr Alwan ran a workshop at the ACSA/IAHSA Joint International Conference on Monday to share some of those tools with delegates.
