The paper outlines five back-up questions that those in charge of data protection need to know the answer to, as well as the 10 key challenges, tips for evaluating current infrastructure, a case study, and recommendations for moving to a new model.

It suggests that dealing with a rapidly increasing volume of data with a flat budget and minimal if any increase in resourcing is one of the biggest challenges small and large organisations alike across Australian face.
