Aged care software vendors Health Metrics and BESTMED have teamed up to offer the sector’s providers with an end-to-end solution across the care journey.
Health Metrics’ software platform for residential aged care, retirement living, home and disability care service providers – eCase – supports providers to meet operational, regulatory, compliance and quality of care standards.
BESTMED’s medication management systems for residential and home care providers connects medication prescribing, dispensing and administration to a single resident medication record for improved transparency and safety.
Health Metrics has this month announced BESTMED as its preferred supplier for medication management software. The integration aims to provide a seamless user experience.
Health Metrics chief executive officer Paul Brindle said medication management was increasingly complex and very specific skill and capability was required to deliver a best-in-class product.
“The BESTMED integration enables us to focus our investment 10 per cent on the delivery of the core capabilities required by aged care providers, while enabling our customers to leverage a best of breed medication management solution that is fully integrated with eCase,” Mr Brindle said.
The new partners said they are also committed to building additional integration that will further enhance the user experience.
BESTMED CEO Phil Offer welcomed the partnership and said the organisation would continue acting on feedback from customers and partners across the sector to ensure their product is continually meeting requirements.
