Home Caring to rollout new end-to-end tech solution

Home Caring has partnered with Humanetix to roll out clinical management platform ACE and join technology to create a new offering.

National aged and disability care provider Home Caring has partnered with Humanetix to roll out point-of-care clinical management platform ACE to its 4,500 care clients, and join technology to create a new offering for other providers.

The deal includes Humanetix working with Home Caring’s subsidiary Sygnal – which has a rostering and bill tool – to create a single end-to-end solution for Australian and international markets.

ACE – Aged Care Ecosystem – provides a platform for point-of-care management, decision making and workflow aimed at supporting aged care staff, that was found to improve quality of care and staff productivity in residential aged care.

Sygnal – which has customer management, billing, invoicing and staff rostering capabilities – places an organisation’s processes onto a single platform for a unified and automated operations lifecycle.

Joining the two platforms aims to enable home care providers to have all the necessary clinical, care and compliance requirements for upcoming reforms.

Jon Kontopos

The deal follows a review of technology requirements in response to incoming reforms, said Home Caring chief executive officer Jon Kontopos.

“We understand that care requirements off the back of reform will continue to evolve,” Mr Kontopos said in a statement. “After reviewing the Humanetix ACE system, we feel their system complemented with our own platform creates the perfect technology, not just for us as a leading provider, but also the broader marketplace.”

Arthur Shih

Humanetix CEO Arthur Shih said Humanetix was proud to be appointed Home Caring’s technology partner to help with their clinical and care requirements.

“We feel we are best placed to help aged care providers better enable care through our sophisticated, intelligent care delivery platform,” Mr Shih said in a statement. “We’re also very excited about the broader partnership as we see a clear gap in the market to align our technology to enhance the way that technology can be implemented to promote positive change.”
