Immersing in ICT

The next edition of Australian Ageing Agenda magazine is shining a light on ICT, clinical education, and infection control.

In this time of transformation, it is likely that most if not all aged care providers have some technology project underway. Similarly, whatever challenges a particular aged care service is experiencing, chances are technology is involved in the solution.

In the next edition of Australian Ageing Agenda magazine, we’re delving into information and communication technology for aged care.

We’ll talk to provider chief information officers and other experts about key ICT topics such as:

  • digital transformation
  • where to get help
  • the cloud
  • cyber security
  • required infrastructure.

Clinical education

Also next issue, we’ll showcase examples of innovative clinical education that is helping providers to bring staff the awareness and knowledge they need to improve their skills and achieve best-practice care every time.

Because to deliver quality care, people working in aged care need to know what best-practice is and how to implement it.

Infection control

After three years of intense focus, infection prevention and control remains a top priority as the sector moves to living with Covid normal.

In the next edition, we’ll also investigate how the sector is doing in this area, such as the impact of recent initiatives including IPC leads, and the strategies, tools and resources available to help frontline workers improve their practice and the safety of those they care for.

  1. Hi, in Tanunda Lutheran Home (located in the Barossa Valley) we are developing the use of robots to assist in the back of house tasks and infection control.
I would be happy to discuss an article for the magazine.
