New online claiming system for home aged care
The new online claiming system is now available to all home care providers.

The new online claiming process is available to all home care providers following the pilot of the system with a group of providers, the Department of Human Services (DHS) has announced.
The system enables real time access to service and care recipient information and a more efficient claiming process.
Home care providers can use the Aged Care Online Services to submit forms for:
DHS is planning on releasing Aged Care Online Services for residential and transition care providers at a later date.
Registration
Home care providers can register for the new services here.
Those already registered for existing Aged Care Online Claiming as a home care user only can log on as usual using the same user ID and password and they will be automatically redirected to the new system.
However, for those providing both home and residential care, registered staff will be unable to connect through to the new system for home care but can continue to lodge claims for residential as usual.
DHS is working on a solution to allow users to access both services. Meantime, it recommended providers consider having some staff registered for residential care claiming and different staff registered for home care claiming if they want staff to commence lodging home care claims using the new service.
